Writers Tears Double Oak Irish Whiskey

Writers’ Tears Double Oak is a blend of the two premium whiskey styles aged in two types of wood – American and French Oak. It is triple-distilled and non-chill filtered. The new expression is made possible by a close collaboration between the Walsh family in Ireland’s County Carlow and the Legaret family in Cognac, France. One of the top 10 whiskies of the world 2019 in Whisky Advocate. Bottled at 46% ABV. The nose has aromas of cinnamon, plum & poached pear. Notes of citrus zest and sweet vanilla on the palate and the finish has Chocolate undertones & lingering spice.
